We used to eat only idli dosa and puri every morning. But appam is the tastiest and healthiest type of tiffen. Pour this type of appam to existing children and drink it in the morning and they will ask for it every day. Let’s see how to prepare Appam.

  • Idli Rice – 1 cup
  • Urad  Dal – 1/4 cup
  • Coconut – 1/2 cover
  • Fenugreek – 1/4 spoons
  • cooked rice – 1/4 cup
  • salt – required amount

Preparation Method

  • First put the idli rice and Baccari in a bowl and cook for 2 hours. Soak. Similarly, soak urad dal and fenugreek in a vessel for 2 hours.
  • Then grind the soaked urad dal and fenugreek seeds in a grinder. Grind it well and grind the soaked rice with it. Then add coconut and cooked rice to it and grind it well.
  • Now pour the ground flour in a vessel and leave it to ferment for 8 hours. After eight hours add required amount of salt to it and mix well. Now the dough required for making Appam is ready. Pour this into an appa kadai, add a little oil and cook on one side, then the delicious appam is ready.
