‘Belief Is Beauty’: Rakshaya Becomes ‘Miss Tamil Nadu’ By Overcoming Poverty!

Rakshaya has overcome numerous social barriers, such as poverty and a dysfunctional family, and she has developed a distinctive identity for herself. College student Rakshaya competed in a beauty contest that drew thousands of spectators, and she used her talent and attractiveness to win the title of Miss Tamil Nadu.

This year’s Miss Tamil Nadu is Rakshaya.

Thirukkalukunram is the hometown of Rakshaya. His mother works for an export company, and his father is a construction worker. They currently reside in Velachery.

Rakshaya had always wanted to succeed in any subject since she was a little child. He found his interest when he was seventeen years old. He began his searches after that. She has worked hard and persevered to become Miss Tamilnadu today.

“My buddy Janarthanam greatly aided me in my endeavor. I was really motivated by his support. My parents initially disapproved of my decision to pursue this career path. However, I persisted in being obstinate and assured them that I would undoubtedly succeed in this. My parents then began encouraging me in my endeavors as well,” recalls Rakshaya.

It was not an easy title to be Miss Tamil Nadu for her. He has put in a lot of work and workouts to achieve that. She works part-time and has been getting ready for beauty pageants.

“Beauty is belief…” You can be any color, tall or short. However, having trust will undoubtedly make us more beautiful. For Rakshaya, this is what beauty looks like.

He mentally noted this profoundly and made a change for himself. She was advised to enhance her appearance through plastic surgery, but she declined.

He took part in and won the ‘Mono Acting’ program last year (2018), and the Tamil Nadu government rewarded him by flying him to Malaysia. She was then chosen to compete in the district-level Forever Star India Awards beauty contest held in February.



She proceeded to the state-level beauty pageant after that. The competition, which took place in Jaipur, Rajasthan, from the 18th to the 21st, attracted thousands of participants from other regions. Participating in this, Rakshaya was crowned ‘Miss Tamil Nadu’ and won the title.

Rakshaya’s next objective is to win Miss India after winning Miss State. In anticipation of the December “Miss India” contest, she is getting ready. In all states, almost 750 people were chosen as runners and winners. Rakshaya is getting ready for this competition in the hopes of competing and taking home the Miss India crown.

“I don’t look forward to the future. I should be doing this now more effectively. That’s what I’m always thinking about. I think that if we take good care of the present, things will work out better in the future. I don’t consider anyone to be a role model for me because of this.
