In 2017, Prafull Billore founded MBA Chaiwala with the goal of becoming a “big businessman.” But in spite of his lack of enthusiasm for tea, he managed to create a lucrative Rs 4 crore company.

Praful Pillor is not a particularly gourmet. But he also made a name for himself in the tea industry by starting ‘MBA Chaiwala’.

“To make a lot of money. to have a comfortable life. I have wanted this since I was a young child. My parents believed that I could live comfortably and earn a nice wage if I finished my MBA. However, what they believed did not occur. Three times, I took the CAT admission exam. No matter how hard I tried, I failed the exam,” adds Praful.


Praful is a native of the Madhya Pradeshi village of Dhar. He has been an MBA student at Ahmedabad University from 2017.

Reading books is what interests him more than learning. He was especially drawn to quotations from influential businesspeople. have motivated He began his MBA five years ago, and since then, he has grown into an entrepreneur who has created a multimillion dollar business. His business, ‘MBA Chaiwala’ (MBA Chaiwala), has 50 locations around India and generates an annual revenue of Rs 4 crore.

His parents disapproved of the choice he had made. They felt enraged. However, relative harassment is not the same. However, Praful dismissed these as unimportant. He was thinking exclusively about how to grow the company.

“Today I am focused on expanding my business rather than making tea,” he explains.

Praful claims that the tea industry in India will always remain strong, pointing to upscale tea establishments like Chaayos and Chai Point.

MBA Chaiwala wants to help those who would want to spend between forty and fifty rupees sipping tea in a cozy cafe.

“I am the sole proprietor of this firm. Growing a company to the magnitude of well-known brands comes with several limitations. For a firm like mine that operates out of a tiny town, raising capital is something new,” he explains.

Based on market research, the Indian market is anticipated to expand at a 4.2% annual growth rate between 2022 and 2027, reaching 1.40 million tons.

A multimillionaire in every suburb

Praful founded the MBA Chaiwala Academy in addition to the tea company. He has a sizable following and is active on social media. This is the primary driver for brand development as well.
He declares, “My goal is to turn every small town into a millionaire.”
