Just Wow, Vermicelli Vangibath Recipe

  • There is no best tiffen item like idli and dosa. But, isn't it boring to make idli and dosa every day? Even though there are so many alternatives to them,  housewives' preference for easy-to-make tiffen is Semiya. It is easily available. It's easy to make and tastes good even to kids. Vermicelli vangibath is delicious and its spicy different recipe. Do it and it will be amazing!

Ingredients

  • Vermicelli(semiya) - 1 cup,
  • Eggplant - 6 small,
  • Onion - 1,
  • Tamarind water thick - 1 tsp,
  • Turmeric powder –  1/4 tsp,
  • Curry leaves - a little,
  • Oil - 2 tsp.
  • Dry chillies – 8,
  • Coriander – one and half tablespoon.
  • Chickpeas – 1 and ½ tsp
  • cumin seeds - half tablespoon,
  • grated coconut - 1 tablespoon,
  • oil - 1 teaspoon
  • First, roast these ingredients in oil ,dry chillies,coriander, chickpeas,cumin seeds, grated coconut.
  • Slice eggplant and onion thinly lengthwise. Lightly fry the semiya in 2 tbsp of oil and cook in 6 cups of boiling water.
  •  Dry the ghee and add the spices and when it turns brown, mix onion, salt and turmeric powder and fry for 2 minutes. Then add brinjal and saute till it is cooked well, add tamarind water, salt, ground powder, curry leaves and mix well and serve.
