Work with punctures

Boisar, a tiny town in Maharashtra’s Palghar district, is where Varun Baranwal was born. His dad owned a modest business repairing bicycle tires. Since he was a young child, Varun has studied to become a doctor.

But his father passed away suddenly in 2006 while he was a class 10 student. Varun was then left in charge of looking after the family.

Varun’s father had a tiny puncture shop that provided his family with their only source of income. In order to support his family, Varun gave up on his dream of becoming a doctor and began working in his father’s bicycle business.

One day, as Varuna was repairing bicycle punctures, he happened to run across Kampli, the physician who had previously treated his father. A diligent student, Varun was disappointed to see his bicycles stuck with punctures after having to abandon his studies in the middle of the semester owing to family issues. He made the decision to lend Varun as much assistance as he could.

With the help of the doctor, Varun was able to resume his schooling. He did not quit the puncture shop where he provided food for his family, even though he attended school. He left his mother in charge of the shop during the day, going home at night to do his homework and fix the punctures on the bikes that were on their way.

He put in a lot of effort in both his day job and his studies, and he did well in both. He continued to read proficiently even though he took a break from school for a while. Varun was the first student in the class to pass class 10 as a consequence.

Gold medal

Varun’s mother persisted in encouraging him to pursue more education upon observing his enthusiasm for learning. To support his son, he ran his bicycle shop. Because medical courses were too costly, Varun, who was covering his own tuition, enrolled in engineering with Dr. Kampli’s assistance.

Varun was a well-read person, and his friends bought books for him. Varun completed his engineering courses with a gold medal while working at his bicycle shop and studying as well.

Tarun, who excelled academically, was hired by a multinational corporation in his last year of college. But rather than taking a job, Varun began preparing for the UPSC examinations since he had a high desire to help those who were suffering as much as he was.

Furthermore motivated by Anna Hazare’s battles, Varun made the lifelong decision to rid society of corruption.

As usual, he took care of bicycle punctures to get ready for the UPSC tests. Varun became an IAS after putting in a lot of work and earning the 32nd position in the 2016 UPSC test.

Varun is currently employed at Rajkot Corporation as the Zonal Commissioner. He has worked hard to get to this point and has never allowed poverty to get in the way of his goals. In each interview, Varun states that his mother is the primary source of his success.

Varun’s poverty forced him to work at a puncture shop, but he didn’t let it stop him from pursuing his dreams; today, he’s a successful IAS officer. Varuna serves as a role model for a large number of the local youth in their studies. In addition to Maharashtra. For those pursuing their aspiration of becoming an IAS, Varun’s tale is undoubtedly a source of motivation.
