Court verdicts for Vijay’s BMW issue- Vijay fans over the moon.

In 2012, Vijay imported Rolls-Royce from England and he filed a case in Chennai high court seeking the cancellation of entry tax for the car. During the hearing, a judge commented not to be a reel hero but try to be a real hero and a fine amount of one lakh was imposed on him.

Vijay was dejected due to the comment and continued the case in the high court. He also requested to remove the comment of the judge. This case was in pending for 9 years and ended successfully. Following this, there is another issue about his BMW X5 which he bought in 2005.

Imported BMW X5 of Vijay:

This car costs 63 lakhs. Vijay paid his toll taxes for importing the car from America. The high court orders Vijay to pay the state entry tax to the state government to import the car from America. As per the order he paid 7.98 lakhs as the entry tax to the government.

Vijay embroiled in luxury car issue:

As per the Tamil Nadu commercial tax department, if paying the entry tax is delayed he will be fined Rs.30,20,000 i.e., 40 percent of the price. After this, he filed a case in the high court. Tamil Nadu commercial tax department is asked to submit the details about on what basis the penalty has been imposed to the court. This case is postponed to February 1.

Vijay’s luxury car issue goes viral:
