Chandini was born and bought up in Chennai. Her father Tamilarasan is a business man and her mother Padmanjali is a house wife. She had done her schooling in Sacred Heart Matriculation Hr. Sec School, Church Park, Anna Salai, Chennai, Then she went on to study Visual Communications Degree from Ethiraj College for Women. She got married with Dance Master Nandha in 2018.

Chandini Career
When Chandhini has completed her schooling and been on holiday, her parents saw a paper ad for Miss Chennai 2007 pageant and she participated in it and won the title. She was photogenic from her school days itself. After winning the title she started getting many offers for acting. And the contest helped her to improve her body language and communication skills. She found there was a transformation on herself after the contest, says in an interview.

She got an offer from Bhakyaraj's movie Siddhu +2 and she went for a screen test and then she was selected for the lead role in the movie. After Siddhu +2 she took 3 years gape for her next movie Naan Rajavaga Pogiren. Since then she has started acting in multiple movies. In 2019, she is acting continuously for 10 movies.
