Actress Shilpa Shetty was discharged after years from the case of obscenity going viral on social media. Shilpa Shetty was one of the leading actresses in the Bollywood world. She commenced her career as a model at the age of 16 and made her debut film “Baaziger”. After this, she had acted with many leading actors and also acted in a Tamil film with Prabhudeva in “Mr.Romeo” in 1996.

She became familiar to the Tamil fans through this film and has acted in over 40 films in Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada having a separate fan base. Meanwhile, she got married to a businessman Raj Kundra in 2009 and was blessed with a baby boy. She participated in the popular show Bigg boss season 2 aired on Vijay television in Hindi.

Shilpa’s screen journey:

Shilpa Shetty gave birth to her second baby through surrogacy and was sentenced to criticism. She is also currently starring in films and being a part of public events. She also raises awareness of yoga always being active on social media. At this stage, she has been released in the case of behaving indecently in a public place.

AIDS Awareness program:

 AIDS awareness program was conducted in 2007 in Rajasthan at Alwar Nagar. This was attended by the famous Hollywood actor Richard Gere, who was the UN special envoy for AIDS at that time. That show was hosted by Shilpa Shetty. During the show, the actor Richard Gere tied up and kissed Shilpa and this caused a deal of controversy.

The case against Shilpa :

Both the actor and actress took that so casually as if nothing happened but they were accused of behaving indecently in public. People blamed Shilpa for not stopping Richard from kissing her in public. Richard and Shilpa were prosecuted in the Alwar Nagar court and the case was transferred to Mumbai in 2017.

Judgment of the case:

Now the judgment of the case is given. The judge told that Shilpa Shetty is not an offender here but the affected person as she was forcibly kissed. one should not make someone a conspirator or a criminal by their imagination, the judge added. So Shilpa has been acquitted from the case which went on for years.
