Mahendra Singh Dhoni, better known by his stage name Dhoni, is the captain of the Indian Men’s Cricket Team (ODI and T20Is). He was an ordinary man before becoming well-known as the “Captain Cool.”
From a straightforward young man from a tiny town, he went on to become the man who guided a team to victory in the T-20 World Cup.
Motivating Beginning
Once upon a time, the Indian Cricket Team was made up entirely of city youths. In the Ranji Trophy, many boys from small towns would not be able to defeat them because of the great infrastructure and ample opportunities for the game in cities. However, this man disproved everything. Many were afraid to witness the dream that MSD had seen.
Dhoni, who hailed from a tiny Ranchi town, has the bravery and guts to follow his dreams and turn them into reality. He looked up to Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar, also referred to as the God of Cricket, from an early age. He began working for Indian Railways as a ticket collector. In 2003, his perseverance and unwavering work ethic led him to success in international cricket.
