Disha Madan was born on 09th March 1992 in Bangalore. She comes from an artistic background. Her father Madan S Iyengar and mother Ashwini. Her parents gave her the encouragement to explore the field of art at her initial stage of life. She started learning Indian Classical Bharatanatyam dance at a tender age of three. She is of a slim body with height measures about 5’3” and weighs about 52 kg. Her body stats are 34-24-33 with black eyes and dark brown hair.

She got married to her boyfriend Shashank Vasuki Gopal on 09th April 2017. They both loved each other before getting married and he was a part of many of her Musical.ly videos.

Disha Madan Entry to Social Media

To achieve excellence in dancing she attended the famous Shivapriya Dance School, Bangalore. She learned the dance from the eminent dancer/actor/choreographer Dr.Sanjay Shantaram. In the year 2010, she was a member of Dr.Sanjay Shantaram Bharatanatyam Dance troupe which performed in Karnataka Vaibhava, Singapore.

In the year 2012, she attended Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore she befriended Puja, her best friend. Both of them started a new group called The TipTap Movement, an online tutorial page for dance.

Disha Madan Professional Life

Disha Madan participated in Dance India Dance Season 4 mega audition in the year 2013. She was very much appreciated for her skills in dancing by the judges, especially by the grand master Mithun Chakraborty. But she failed to clear the rounds. Later she was part of the ETV Kannada Dancing reality show, Dancing Star in the year 11th January 2014 and won the Dancing Star title Season 1. Later she got a call to work with the TV serial Kulvadhu on Colors Kannada as Vachana. During the break of the serial, she got the idea to try Musical.ly and later became very popular with more than 2.7 million followers
