The Sky Is The Limit: 26 Poor Students’ Dream Flight!

Raindrops, a humanitarian initiative, has made for underprivileged students dream of air journey come reality!

For underprivileged kids, a humanitarian group named “Raindrops” has made their ambition of becoming pilots a reality.

Raindrops Framework:

Raindrops is a youth-inclusive, multidisciplinary community organization. Through the media and numerous artistic events, this group is educating the public on social awareness concepts. Composer A.R. Rehana, sister of Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman, is present as the organization’s goodwill representative.

Poor pupils’ air travel:

A community organization called Raindrops recently surveyed orphanages in Chennai and discovered that a large number of the kids there wish to take an airline ride at least once in their lives.

In partnership with Satyabama University, Raindrops arranged a one-day excursion titled “The Sky is the Limit” to fulfill the dreams of these kids. 26 kids who were chosen for this reason from homes like Sewalaya, Anandam, and Ches were flown from Chennai to Coimbatore this morning and then returned to Chennai by rail from Coimbatore. This comprises a transgender student and a pupil who is vision challenged.

Travel from Chennai to Coimbatore:

At the Coimbatore airport, District Governor Sameeran, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pratap Murugan, and Revenue Division Officer Bhuma greeted the students who had traveled by plane.

The children’s lifetime dream of flying came true when they visited Coimbatore, the capital of Tamil Nadu, thanks to this initiative. By doing this, we can kindle hope in the hearts of the next generation of kids. Raindrops hopes that by taking young children on this excursion, they would discover the heights of the world and human virtues. The children’s vacation experience will serve as a powerful motivator for them to succeed in life beyond this one, he said.

Afterwards, the students took in the sights at I Love Coimbatore, GT Naidu Museum, and Coimbatore Science Centre. Traveling with the kids was enjoyable for a number of people, including CEO of Raindrops organization Arvind Jayapal, well-known singers and small-screen stars Shivangi and Sam Vishal, and Sultan Ahmad Ismail, a member of the State Planning Commission and researcher in natural science.
