Mugen Rao’s father is a stage singer. He used to watch while he singing in the stage and he got inspired by his performance and applauds from the audience. Since that moment his dream was to become an artist. He said in an interview that if he didn’t become a celebrity, he had probably been a bad person due to his behaviors back then otherwise he would have been working in a 9 to 5 job.

When he was 13 years old, his uncle Sathis Rao took him to act in a Malay movie. It was a tribute movie for P.Ramlee, called ‘Senandung Malam’. He was acted as a paperboy in the movie. His interest in acting came from this and it has continued until now.
His biggest strength is will power. He doesn’t give up so easily. He was totally a different person back then. He loves to write lyrics. His loves ‘Kayalvizhi’ song. And then ‘Pogiren’ song.

His biggest dream is to bring Malaysian art industry to an international level. He wanted to have a wax statue of himself at Madame Tussaus Museum in the future. And also he wanted to take a selfie with his wax statue, says in an interview.
