Just Wow Recipe , Shredded Idiyappam

 Are you the one eating noodles and very much found of it….. Here! Healthy and  Special Noodles is ready for you.  This is our ‘Idiappam’ and its taste sticks to the tongue to the point of being surprised…!

  • Idiyappam  – 2 cups
  • Boiled  vegetables (Carrot,Beans,Cabbage) – 50 g each
  • Turmeric powder – quarter teaspoon
  • Pepper powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Chili powder – 1 tbsp
  • Jasmine powder – 3 tbsp
  • Anise powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped coriander – 2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped spring onions – 50 gms
  • Finely chopped tomatoes – 2
  • Coconut oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt as required

Preparation Method

  • First , Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry the onion. Then add tomato and coriander and saute.  Add all the powders except anise powder and saute. Add the vegetables to the boiled water Add salt and boil well.
  • When water is not visible and the oil comes to a boil, add idiyappam and stir. Keep it on low flame and stir it with a handful of water (water should be sprinkled as it is still cold).
  • Cover for 3 minutes, stir again and lastly sprinkle with aniseed powder and serve. In place of vegetables, just add mushrooms and you can make Kutu Idiyappam in the same
