Best Food Out Of Rest Food, Fried Podi Idli

Fried Podi Idly is made from left over idly, this recipe is so delicious and simple made out of left over idlies. No one will eat leftover idli, but if we make this fried podi idli with that leftover idly ,kids and family members will not leave this super delicious fried podi idli recipe.

Ingrediants

  • Idli (left over) – 5
  • Oil – 3 spoons
  • Mustard seeds -1/4 tsp
  • Gram dall-1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek leaves – 1 bunch
  • Big onion -1
  • Salt –as per requirement.
  • Tomatoes- 1
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 spoon
  • Coriander leaves.
  • Ghee – 1 tsp.

Preparation Method

  •  First cut the remaining idli into small pieces and keep aside. Put a pan on the stove and pour oil.When the oil is dry,add mustard seeds, gram dal, fenugreek leaves,big onion cut in length wise.salt as required and sauté the onion until golden brown.
  • Next add finely chopped small size tomatoes,ginger garlic paste.Add some coriander leaves. When tomatoes is fried well and the oil that we have poured seperates.put the idli in it and fry for few minutes.
  • Then, sprinkle idli powder on top of it and mix it well and heat it. Add one spoon of ghee at the end to enhance the taste of fried podi idli….
