VJ Manimegalai is one of the well know VJ in ‘Sun Music’ Television Channel. She started hosting the show since 2010 when she was doing her college in Meenakshi Engineering college. ‘Super Hits’ is the first show that she hosted in Sun Music TV channel. Manimegalai was born on May 7th 1990 in Coimbatore. Her father Ramaayyappan is a businessman and her mother Jyothi is a house wife. Her younger brother Guna is a Viscom graduate. Their family has relocated to Chennai from Coimbatore when she was 8 years old. And then they got settled in Chennai. She did her schooling in St.Johns matriculation Higher secondary school and completed her Bachelor of Engineering in Meenakshi Engineering college and post graduated in SRM University.
Manimegelai along with her friends has applied for an audition in Sun Music when she was studying in college and she got selected in audition. Initially their parents had opposed for the VJ job but later she convinced them.
She has started receiving huge fan followers on after hosting the show like ‘Franka Sollatta‘ and ‘Freeya Vidu’. She has started hosting several reality shows including ‘Block Show’. She became one of the most wanted hosts in later days after hosting shows on Sun TV. She has also collaborated with other famous hosts including Nisha Krishanan and Anjana Rangan.
Manimegalai and Hussain were been in a relationship for quite some time but their parents were been opposing since Hussain is from other religion, so the couples took a decision to get married without parents permission.
Manimegalai saw Hussain’s dance performance in a Lawrance movie, she got impressed with his dance movements. Later she found Hussain’s mobile number and congrats him. Later they started chatting which blooms the love.
Manimegalai had travelled all the way to Hydrabad alone in car on Hussain birthday where he was in a Telugu movie shooting. And she proposed her love to him and then he accepted the love.
In a just few days after they started loving each other, she told the same to her parents. But his father refused to accept it since because of the religion issues. Also, their parents started looking alliance for her which made them tied a knot in registered office.
Hussain and Manimegalai have been participating in a reality couples show which airing in Vijay Television. On the intro session Manimegalai broken out that their parents were not been accepted their love and they wants to prove themselves financially.
