Sonu Patil was born on 27th September in Bijapur. She got later moved to Noth Karnataka, an interior Village and completed her schooling in Bangalore, Karnataka. She had completed her degree in Akkaakkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapur, Karnataka, India.
She was also a journalist who had completed her MA Journalism at Vijayapura. She had also worked in a Television Channel. There was an audition for a movie and she got selected and turned her path toward movie from journalism from then.
She showed an interest toward acting since from her school days. She had done a so many stage shows during her college days.
