The biopic on the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalitha was announced by debut director Priyadarshini a few months ago. This project, according to latest reports, will start rolling from February 24. The date has been chosen to coincide with the birth anniversary of the legendary leader.
The Iron Lady, as it is titled, will be bankrolled by Paper Tale Pictures. And its was indeed a special for Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on March 23 as the makers of former chief minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa’s biopic announced that the Manikarnika actress will reprise the iconic politician in the movie.
