Naveen Sajju Wiki/Biography

Folk singer Naveen Sajju was born and brought up in Mysore, Karnataka. He is pursuing his Diploma in Hindustani music in Mysore and he didn’t stop from performing in the orchestra concerts whenever he is free. He is of an average height with 5’8″ and well built.

Naveen Sajju Career

He has worked in famous movies like Kanaka, Yen Nin Problemmu. His latest film to hit theatres was Kanaka in the year 2018. Sajju made his debut as a playback singer with movie Lucia in the year 2013. Director Pawan Kumar and music director Poornachandra Tejaswi asked me to sing a song for the movie Lucia based on my performance in an orchestra. He worked hard for six months to adjust voice modulation and his skills to sing the song.

Naveen adds that he prefers singing high-pitch songs rather than melodies. He said, “My strength lies in high-pitch songs, which require a lot of vocal effort” in an interview. His first song as a composer, ‘Yenne Namdu Oota Nimdu’ from the movie ‘Kanaka’, has gone viral. Its a dream come true song for him because it becomes a big hit within a few days of its release.

Naveen Sajju won the Best Singer Award from the Karnataka State Government for the movie Lucia. His works as a Music Director includes Kusthi and Kanaka in 2018 and Yen Nin Problem in 2017. As a playback singer, he worked with the films Akira, Half Mentlu, Bhujanga and Ricky in 2016. In the year 2015, he worked in the films like RX Soori, Vascodigama, Jackson and Lucia in the year 2013.
