Reliance industries chairman recaptured the status of Asia’s richest person, a day after Gautam Adani had surpassed him on net worth according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
As per the global ranking of billionaires given by Bloomberg , with a total net worth of $ 89.2 billion, Ambani is placed at the 10th spot while Adani with $ 89.2 billion drops from 1st to 11th.
Both Ambani and Adani were in a swap for the past few months to capture the top spot on the billionaire rankings.
Last week, both Ambani and Adani surpassed Mark Zuckerberg on Forbes list of real-time billionaires after he lost $29 billion in net worth as Facebook owner Meta platforms Inc’s stock marked a record one-day plunge.
Just a day ago, Adani turned small commodities trading business into a conglomerate spanning ports, mines, and green energy with A NET WORTH OF $88.5 billion while Ambani’s net worth stood at $87.9 billion. However, shares of some of Adani’s group companies lowered while reliance stock remain green since yesterday.
