Her family consists of four members including her father N.Ranganath, a civil contractor, her mother B.Sudha Ranganath is a housewife and has an elder sister R.Anusha who is also an actress. Ashika completed her schooling in Tumkur and shifted to Bangalore for pursuing her Pu. She finished her graduation from Jyoti Nivas College, Koramangala in the field of commerce.
