The incident of some Hindu organizations protesting against the wearing of hijab by Islamic students in most colleges has caused an uproar across India. Islamic students were not allowed to come to the college wearing Kulla, Barbuda, and burqa. Yet Islamic students have been wearing hijab to college. Following this, they were denied permission to go to the classroom.

Hindutva students came wearing saffron towels saying that if Islamic students wear hijab, we will wear a saffron towel. Some students were wearing a saffron dupatta. Thus there was a religious problem throughout the state of Karnataka.
