Cheran’s Early life
Cheran was born and brought up in Kolinjipatty near Madurai. His father Pandiyan working as a theatre operator in Vellalur touring the theatre and his mother Kamala was a primary school teacher. Cheran has two sisters. Cheran was married to Selvarani and this couple has two daughters. During his school days, Cheran acted in dramas and his childhood dream was to become a cinema director.
Cheran Career :
Initially, Cheran worked as a Production manager in some movies and then he started his carrier as an assistant director with Director K. S. Ravikumar in the film Puriyaadha Pudhir. After that, he worked as an associate director in Nattamai. He also worked as an associate director in Ulaga Nayagan Kamal’s ‘Mahanadhi’.
After working as an assistant director with some big director, Cheran made his directional Debut in ‘Bharathi Kannamma’ starring director Parthiban and Meena in a lead. The movie got so many positive credits and got some awards. The film also got him Filmfare Award for Best Director on the year also. After ‘Bharathi Kannamma’ Cheran directed some interesting films like Porkkalam, Desiyageetham, Vetrikodikattu, Pandavar Boomi and much more.
Director Cheran turns as a hero in his own directional movie ‘Solla Marandha Kadhai’ which was released way back in 2002. And after that, he continued his carrier as a hero in his own direction and some other directors too. His last movie ‘Thirumanam’ which was released in 2019 where he direct and acted as a hero. And now he is participating as a judge in Nalaya Iyakunar in Kalainger Tv.
On the year 2013 Filed a complaint against his father. Dhamini falls in love with Assistant Director Sandru and she files a complaint that she would like to go with her ‘would-be’ mother-in-law. In this case, Thamini complained to the Chennai Municipal Police Commissioner on 4th August 2013 that she was kept house arrested by her father as he was opposing his love. During that time this issue went viral and now Dhamini. Initially, Dhamani claimed in court that she wants to go with her Boyfriend. But, after some days Dhamini was agreed to go with her parents.
